We are 100% volunteer run and we can always use a few more helping hands. We have two volunteer activities each week. We meet every Sunday to make about 500-600 burritos. We meet every Saturday to make 300-350 BBQ tempeh burritos. Meals are distributed to hungry people in the Eugene-Springfield area.
When can I volunteer?
We need volunteers every Saturday and Sunday for Burrito Brigade to help wash, cut, and prep veggies for the burritos as well as help roll and wrap all the burritos.

While volunteers are welcome to just show up, we prefer that you RSVP to a Burrito Brigade event on our Facebook page at Eugene Burrito Brigade. If you have questions or if you’re bringing more than five people, please email us at EugeneBurritoBrigade@gmail.com.
For either Brigade, please wear closed toe shoes, and if participating in food preparation, bring a hair tie if you have long hair. If volunteering for distribution, please wear seasonally appropriate clothing (i.e: rain gear).
If you would like to be invited weekly to Burrito Brigade events, join the Eugene Burrito Brigade on Facebook.

Hi Christi
We have lots of tasks for many ages. We have found children over 7 have an easier time. We do preparation(chopping and washing veggies)from 11-1,1-2 rolling burritos and 2-3 distribution.
Looking forward to meeting you
Best,
Jen

Is there an age limit to participate without a parent chaperone?

Hi Ava, it kind of depends on the situation. We have had parents drop off before and then check in with us. We have also had high school students that come for community service without parents. What age?
Thank you
Jen
